Gum

Remove gum from fiberglass, glass, laminate, metal, counter tops, flooring, natural stone, tile, concrete, wood, porcelain, factory finished paints or heat treated coatings, and plastic (may etch some plastics always test a small area first). Not meant for use on painted or varnished surfaces:

  1. Remove excess gum by pulling it away from the surface
  2. Apply MAX Strip Graffiti Remover or All Purpose Remover
  3. Wait 5 – 10 minutes
  4. Pull away from surface to remove, scrape or power wash off
  5. Use a clean, white cloth to wipe off excess
  6. Repeat process as needed
  7. Clean area with water and wipe dry
  8. Use caution not to scratch the surface if a scraping tool is used

Remove gum from carpets or rugs:

  1. Pretest on an inconspicuous area
  2. Remove excess gum by pulling it away from the surface
  3. Apply MAX Strip Graffiti Remover or All Purpose Remover to carpet. Wait 5 – 10 minutes
  4. Pull away from surface to remove. Use a clean, white cloth to blot out excess
  5. Repeat process as needed
  6. Clean area with warm water, blot dry
  7. Use caution not to over saturate the area with MAX Strip

*Hint: It may help to use an ice cube to help solidify the gum before pulling off excess to begin removal.

Remove gum from chairs, couches, furniture and upholstery. Caution may not be suitable for some synthetic fabrics. Do not use on leather:

  1. Pretest on an inconspicuous area
  2. Apply MAX Strip Graffiti Remover or All Purpose Remover to area
  3. Wait 5 – 10 minutes
  4. Wipe gently to remove with a clean, white cloth and warm water turning cloth repeatedly
  5. Reapply as needed
  6. Use caution not to over saturate the area with MAX Strip

*Hint: We recommend using an ice cube to harden the gum before removal, if possible from the back side of the fabric.

Remove gum from clothing. Caution may not be suitable for some synthetic fabrics. Do not use on leather:

  1. Remove excess gum by pulling away from the fabric
  2. Apply MAX Strip Graffiti Remover or All Purpose Remover to stain
  3. Wait 5 – 10 minutes
  4. Blot stain with a clean, white cloth.
  5. Launder treated items separately, using extra detergent

*Hint: We recommend using an ice cube to harden the gum before removal, if possible from the back side of the fabric.
